Analyze My Writing is an online text content and readability analyser. By copying a text into the homepage, users can visualise extensive information about the text, including word and character counts, word and sentence lengths, the readability of a text, and more It also provides useful articles and references for information on readability and lexical density. Evaluation: A free-to-use and valuable tool to gather data about a text. Analyze My Writing provides basic text statistics, texts’ common words and phrases, readability and lexical density data, and more. A useful function is to create a word cloud with the most used words. This tool also allows users to create Cloze tests from any text to measure students’ reading skills and their level of expertise regarding a topic. Analyze my Writing is mainly thought for texts in English, but it might be used for other languages as well. It is overall an easy-to-use, completely free, open-source tool that does not gather any personal data or cookies.
