Poll Everywhere

Principal function(s): Poll and survey creators

A poll creator that allows viewing the results instantly. Respondents can answer the poll via the web or mobile phones. Responses can be seen in real-time on PowerPoint, Keynote, or the web. The data can be downloaded. With a free account, one may record up to 25 responses per poll. With paid accounts, the ranking and grading function is added. Evaluation: The basic plan is free. It allows an unlimited number of polls and up to 25 responses per poll. The free plan includes great features: Live PowerPoint polls, web responding, widgets, Twitter, downloadable results, and more. It may be fun and engaging for students to see their poll responses in real time.

Medium. Poll Everywhere collects various types of user information, including name and email address, or browser type. When they sign up, users can consent from email lists and marketing communications, from which they can unsubscribe at any time. It does not share or sell user information with third parties for commercial purposes. Poll Everywhere mentions the implementation of industry-standard security measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access and loss. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation.
