Crowd Signal

Crowd Signal is an online tool used to create polls, surveys, quizzes, and ratings. The quizzes can be shared on websites or social media and distributed via email. Users can visualise collected data on multiple devices using the free Crowd Signal app. It requires registration for its use. Evaluation: A practical, free tool for teachers to create quizzes or surveys. Educators can set a passing score and decide whether respondents get to see their scores. Through quizzes and surveys, learners can test their pupils’ skills in grammar or vocabulary, for example. The free account is adequate for making quizzes and surveys with up to 200 responses per month. Its straightforward design requires no IT skills for its use.

Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation. Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English.
