A tool that makes content more dynamic and visually appealing to the audience. One can make, for instance, presentations, infographics, guides, maps, quizzes, games, etc. Evaluation: Genially is a suitable resource for creating presentations, infographics, along with other types of content. The design is very user-friendly. Ready-made templates are available in the free version (more in the paid version). These facilitate the creation of content, but also represent a limitation in terms of creativity. Another disadvantage is that the content cannot be downloaded with the free version.

High. Genially collects user data for reasonable purposes, such as running the platform itself or fulfilling contractual obligations. It shares data with third parties yet following the same principles. No user data is sold to third parties. Genially mentions security measures in its privacy policy. It also states users’ right to access, rectify, or oppose data, as well as the “Right to be forgotten”. Genially complies with the GDPR. See more here.

Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation. Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English.
