Adobe Spark

Principal function(s): Poster/infographic creators

Adobe Spark is a software for creating posters, flyers, video presentations, social media graphics, and more. It is free-to-use and has a user-friendly design. Users can choose a template, and then customise it to their liking with different fonts, colours and images. Evaluation: A valuable resource to create classroom activities or homework assignments. The interface is easy to use and there is a wide range of different features to choose from to create a design. There are three main functions of Adobe Spark: post, page and video. Adobe Spark is also available as an app.

Medium. Adobe collects personal and usage data. It may track and profile students with Adobe IDs but not with Enterprise/Federated IDs. However, student data is neither shared with third parties for marketing nor sold. Adobe Spark allows users to access, correct, delete, and export their data. It also provides privacy settings. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation. Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English.
