This tool was developed within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the European Centre for Modern Languages and the European Commission


Principal function(s): Crossword puzzle creatorsQuiz/exercise makers

User-friendly educational game creator. Choose from a wide array of game templates such as crosswords, memory games, quizzes and riddles. You can create your own games using the templates provided or pick one of the many ready-to-use activities on the website. Evaluation: A good resource for classroom activities. All exercises one creates or chooses are printable and can be exported to use on other devices. Educaplay is compatible with other web applications such as Moodle and Google Classroom. Students can complete the activities online using a code given to them by their teacher. This erases the need for students to share their personal details online.

High. EducaPlay collects personal information for the purpose of improving its service. However, it requires parental consent for children under the age of 16 to create a user account along with other securtíty measures to protect the child’s identity. The policy provides information about how parents can request access, change, or delete their children's personal information. EducaPlay shares some data with thirds parties. Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation. Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English.
