High. ClassDojo mainly collects personal data to improve its services, although it shares user data with some third-parties. ClassDojo does not sell or rent user information to third-parties, and does not allow third-party advertising. Moreover, personal information collected from students is never used for behaviorally-targeted advertising to students and is erased in case of account inactivity after 12 months. Interestingly, ClassDojo has a two-tier privacy policy, where privacy guarantees for pupils are more comprehensive. Its privacy policy is extensive and easy to understand, at least if focusing in the “Basically,” summary sections. ClassDojo complies with GDPR. See more here.
