High. Deutsche Welle appears to collect a variety of data when users access its websites, including non-personal data such as log file information and personal data when necessary for specific services. This implies some level of data minimization. The policy mentions that data is collected for data security reasons and states that data is kept on secure servers. The policy explicitly mentions that Deutsche Welle will ask for users' consent to collect and process personal data in certain cases, such as competitions and newsletters. This aligns with the principle of obtaining explicit consent. Deutsche Welle also mentions that users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, which implies some level of control over their data. It complies with the GDPR. See more here.

Playphrase (Tool to find the pronunciation of words from movies )

Playphrase is a tool that searches specific words or phrases out of movie snippets from a database of audiovisual media with over 60,000 phrases. In this manner, it provides real-life examples of words’ and sentences’ pronunciation. Users just have to type specific phrases, watch them being used naturally in context within popular movies and TV shows, and listen to their pronunciation. Playphrase works mainly with English. Playphrase is not open-source, but it is freely available. It does not require setting up an account or signing in. ... View details
